
​Armaan Kapur is a writer and multidisciplinary artist from Delhi.
He started his clothing label at age 23, and has since attained experience as an editor, graphic designer, and marketing consultant. In the art format, he has experimented since teenage within textual, video, and photographic mediums.
His short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in international journals in both print and online formats. His recent work explores intersections of sexuality and cultural tradition, to examine the heft of prevailing attitudes on queer Indians.
His 2025 coming-of-age novel "My Atomic Self" follows a queer entrepreneur hurtling through Delhi's fashion circuit during one game-changing weekend. The novel explores themes of alienation, self-discovery and coming to terms with one’s identity. "My Atomic Self" is represented in the Indian subcontinent by A Suitable Agency.
